My Reading Journey For January 2024

January 2024 was a month where I enjoyed my reading journey. I am overall satisfied with my reading journey for January 2024.

I have taken my book Reading hobby seriously this year and I am also maintaining a reading journal religiously.

Books I Read in January 2024

In January 2024, I read 8 books.

My most favorite book that I read this month was The Maidens by Alex Michaelides. My least favorite book is The Day the Towers Fell.

I also included two children books here that I read with my younger son, Gladys the Magic Chicken and Math Fables:Lessons That Count.

Books Currently Reading

Currently, I am reading four books. Two audiobooks, one paperback, and one ebook. I would be able to finish one audiobook by tomorrow. I do not have my paperback book with me as of now and I am reading that book since December 2023. It’s kind of stuck with me. This weekend, I will try finish my paperback book which The Arabian Nights.

The ebook that I am currently reading is Eat, Pray, Love and the two audiobooks are The Girl In The Lake and Grit.

I began reading Grit by Angel Duckworth in 2023 but couldn’t finish it because I had to return the book to the library. This time I got a chance to borrow the audiobook and I would complete reading it by the end of this week.

Concluding Thoughts

I am happy with my reading journey for January 2023 and I hoping that February will be as supportive as January was as far as my reading journey is concerned.

My goal is to read 30 books this year and I am already done with 8 of them. This feels so good.

Happy Reading!!!

  1. You go Nikki! 8 down, 22 to go – you surpassed your goal for January. That’s commendable. What an inspiration.
I also have a few audiobooks lined up and would love an audiobook of Eat, Pray, Love – will check my library for it.
