Habit tracking is as something I do as into this year unlit October. I did not track my habits at all for the month of October. There are several reasons for it but here I am focusing on my November 2026 habit tracker.
Sometimes showing up matters the most. Therefore my November habit tracker is not about perfection. It’s about presence. Showing up every single day.
After an overwhelming October, I didn’t want 20 new habits. I wanted 5 that bring me back to myself — prayer, Gita, and a few small things that make the rest of the day feel lighter. So I’m sharing my actual November tracker.
No complex and expensive supplies needed for my tracker. Just a notebook and a 0.5mm black gel pen.

1. LIVE — Morning Prayer / Prarthana (5 mins)
Not long. Before phone, before school emails. Light diya, hands folded, one small prayer. On rushed teacher mornings, it’s just chanting the Gayatri in the car at the stoplight. The point is: I start with God, not with Google.
2. LEARN — Bhagwad Gita Reading (One Shloka)
I used to try to read a whole chapter and then quit by October 30th. Now: one shloka a day. Just one. I read it in Sanskrit, read the meaning in Hindi/English, write one line in my notebook: “What is Krishna telling Arjun that I need today?”
If you miss a day, you don’t fall behind. The Gita waits.
3. GROW — Body Reset (10 mins)
- Water before chai
- 10-minute walk after school — no podcast, just feet
- No school work at home— teacher habit I want to change.
How I Track It (Without Guilt)

I drew 30 boxes for each habit. Columns = habits, Rows = Nov 1-30.
The rule: Don’t break the chain, but don’t break yourself either.
- Full tick = did it
- Half tick / dot = did not do it at all
At the end of the week, I don’t count ticks. I ask:
- LIVE: Did I feel more grounded?
- LEARN: Did one shloka stay with me?
- GROW: Did I sleep a little better?
If yes, the tracker worked.
My Real November Intention

This tracker isn’t to become a perfect devotee, perfect teacher, or a perfect mother.
Remembering God doesn’t make the work disappear. It makes it lighter to carry.
Live. Learn. Grow. And let November be prayerful, not perfect.
