Happy Fourth Blogiversary

Here is something that is making me happy and sad at the same time. Today, I completed 4 years as a blogger and my blog is now 4 years old.

I am happy because I have been blogging for so long.

I am sad because I had to start afresh this year.

So, technically 4 years ago I created a blog penofhearts.com on WordPress.com but today I have only 3 posts on my blog.

I used to have 792 posts on my blog one day but that’s a story now.

I do not want to ponder too much in past. I want to live in present. The present situation is that, I have started everything from scratch.

I still have my blog name (domain name) but not my old posts.

I still see my followers but I do not see them visiting my blog. It might be that they unfollowed me because my blog was inactive for more than a month.

Now that I have started a new journey, I still want to give credit to myself for being a blogger for past 4 years.

Therefore, I am celebrating my fourth blog anniversary with all of you.

Thanks a lot to those who are still with me in my journey and believing in my comeback.

  1. Congratulations on your four-year anniversary. 😊

As a blogger also, I feel your headache. Question, do you keep a digital copy of all your blogging posts, especially the ones your originated?

I keep every post originated from me and upload them to an external hard drive. Posts that I share from other writers I don’t keep.

Your work is good, I look forward to reading future posts. Happy writing.

    1. Thank you so much for asking that question and believing in me.
All my posts were created by me. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep a digital copy of my posts. I had backup with Jetpack premium plan but I couldn’t restore my posts. I tried multiple times but failed. That’s why had to start from scratch.
I like your idea of having a digital copy.
