Today was the day I was excited about as a teacher. The day when students return to school for the new school year.
First days are always exciting be it anywhere. My students made my first day amazing with their behavior and engagement. They were all ready to rock and roll for the new school year. I hope they all stay the same or even do better every single day.
Students seemed excited and confused at the same time. With the new cellphone policy at school I am excited too. Students do transition easily once you provide them with clear expectations and they will amaze you.
Tomorrow, I will be meeting brand new set of students as we have two different at my high school. My hopes and expectations are high.
