Half the year behind us, the other half is waiting.
July, you beautiful, sweaty middle child of summer — we’ve been waiting for you. The grill is hot, the zinnias are loud, and we’re sliding into the second half of 2026 with sunscreen on our noses and plans in our pockets.
But first, let’s close the door on June with love.
Throwback June
June, You Were Gentle and awesome.
June was my “gentle growth” month. I promised slow days and a full heart. And I did slow down last month.
Flowers bloomed in my garden from stunning zinnias to gorgeous roses. I read two books.

I also tracked my habits in my habit tracker. I wasn’t able to focus on all I wanted to do last month because as I mentioned. I wanted to slowdown.
I took those “nothing mornings.” Slow mornings, cooking every single day, enjoyed with my mom and dad in the US.
June 30 hit and I didn’t have a list of achievements. I had dirt under my nails, a library card with new creases, and my kids knowing I was with them. Success. June, you did your job. You ripened things. Thank you so much.
Plans for July, Let’s Go
If June was for planting, July is for fireworks. Not the hustle kind. The light up the sky kind. Small sparks, big joy.
June gave us the word “perilous” and we loved learning a new word. July gets 31, a day more than June.
July is the last month for the summer break. I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. I am looking forward to traveling places in Texas.
July seems to be fun and happening. So happy July 2026.
Live. Learn. Grow. And wear the sunscreen.
