Spring break for me is all about practicing things I love doing but do not get enough time as a full time school teacher.
This spring break, as I have already shared my bucket list that includes gardening, reading, and coloring, yesterday, I colored two pages from my color-by-number coloring book.
I am a very naive artist who is trying to play with different color marker brands and get going with my hobby. My coloring pages do not look as asthetic as you would find on Instagram. Mine are too normal and that’s okay because I color for my sanity, mental peace, and my enjoyment.
Here are my end results. I hope you like it.

I bought this coloring book from Costco and I love coloring the pages as most pages are nature inspired. There are more than 100 one sided pages to color in this coloring book and I have colored only five so far.
I enjoy color by number coloring activities because you do not have to think about which colors to use. It’s all provided to you, so just go with the flow. It is like a chill puzzle.
You got a picture with numbers, and each number corresponds to a specific color. Just fill in the numbers with the right colors, and voilà – you’ve got an artwork!
It’s a great way to unwind, right? I hope you enjoyed reading this blogpost. See you in the next one.
Happy Spring!!

It looks like a nice bit of therapy, and with my artistic skills probably the only way I could paint. The paintings are quite therapeutic in their own right too 😀
Thank you so much
Very nice.
Thanks a lot
Beautiful. I have recently started coloring book. It’s a meditation really. I got one from Half price book store and this is one activity which gave me so much peace and happiness.
