Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.
Plato
I can’t agree more. Music 🎵 has its soul. Music has its language. Music has no boundaries. Music 🎶 unites people.
I am a die-hard fan of Bollywood music and Bollywood songs. Music is like medicine to me. Whenever I am in a bad mood, music is a reliever. Whenever I am in a good mood, music is fun. So, in any mood music is always a yes for me.
I have my list of favorite songs and I generally stick to my list though I can listen to music from your playlist too.
I know, many of my friends here might not be aware of Bollywood songs as they aren’t from India or they don’t speak or understand the Hindi language. But sometimes it’s more about the tune than the lyrics. For example, I listen to “despacito song” with my kids though I can’t understand the lyrics, I love the song. My kids love to dance to this song.
Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.
Keith Richards
Music is known to have psychological benefits. It is also considered a coping mechanism for pain and anxiety. Music is a stress buster and a mind relaxer.
We all know that listening to music is entertaining. All of us have different tastes in music. Some listen to romantic songs while some like hip hop. Some people are also interested in classical music and it’s serene. I like the music from “Jal Tarang” where we listen to water rhythms.
Listening to music is beneficial for health. It not only benefits the one who is playing the music but also those who are listening.
I am not that good at singing but I like to hum or sing when no one is around. I don’t know to play any musical instrument but I like playing drums (dholak). I also like to play the keyboard. I have one for my kids.

When I am going on a walk alone or on a treadmill, I prefer to listen to music. It helps me be busy and deviates my mind from actually watching my watch while exercising.
What was the last time you listened to a song, a musical instrument, or even played a musical instrument or sang a song?

I love music too! All kinds! I love playing it on my smart speaker!
We have so many things in common. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts with us.
This is such a heartfelt and joyful piece! 🎶✨ I love how you’ve woven together philosophy, personal experience, and universal truths about music—it flows so naturally. Starting with Plato’s timeless words and then connecting them to your love for Bollywood songs makes it both relatable and profound. The way you point out that music goes beyond language, touching emotions directly, is so true—I especially liked your “Despacito” example with your kids, it paints such a warm picture of how music connects generations and cultures. 💖
Thank you so much for your encouragement words. Much appreciated 🙏🏻
