I started blogging as a hobby.
I want it to remain a hobby.
I love reading. It’s my hobby.
I hope it doesn’t change into a chore.
When A Hobby Becomes A Chore
A hobby can become a chore.
When you overcommit,
pressure to perform with perfection.
When you have set unrealistic goals,
that are exhausting you.
I do not want my hobbies to turn into chores.
So, to prevent this from happening,
I will make realistic goals.
I will take breaks if needed,
and enjoy whatever am doing.
I love reading also. It relaxes me and I learn new things and new words. Reading is fun and informative, so, I pray it never turns into chore for either if us.

Very smart! I read quite a few books Jan-Mar. I think I burned myself out a bit. This month, instead of reading 14-15 books, my goal is much more realistic – five. It’s nearly mid-month, and so far, I have two under my belt. You are right – realistic goals!
