Today is April 23rd, World Book Day and being a reader I need to celebrate this day.
I love books and I love reading books. You all know that.
Most of my posts are related to reading and books. I love books so much.
I always loved reading but when I was at school I never got time to read books out of my syllabus.
In India, we have so much academic books to read that children hardly get time to read anything else. Those who get chance to read books other than academic books, I do not know how do they manage. I couldn’t do that growing up as a child.
After coming to the USA and having access to public libraries, I developed a habit of reading books regularly.
Now, I read almost every day. When not reading, I am listening to the audiobooks. All thanks to the public library.
On World Book Day, I read 50 pages from a poetry book.

How weird that different countries have different world book day. The “world” in the name seems inaccurate. In the UK, it was 7th March this year.
