If I can think of one thing that I decided to do last year and still proud of continuing to do is creating a reading journal. I never thought I would be so successful in keeping it for one complete year and filling it every time I read a book.
Here I am in my second year of my journaling and I still love doing it. Journaling has helped me keeping a track of my books that I read, the quotes that I might lose after reading, and new words that I learn every day.
I see myself being more creative every time I create a page for my journal. This is a hobby that is helping me release my stress, get away from my daily routine for a while, be a little girl, and play with all my stickers and washi tapes.
I do not get the privilege to work on my journal every day yet I take time out once I am finished reading a book. Sometimes, when I want a little distraction, I take out my reading journal and just flip through it.
Reading journal has been my escape to my world of no worries and work. It keeps me busy and creative at the same time.
Do you maintain a journal of any kind?
I used to. I miss it. I barely have time for blog posts anymore much less journals. Trying to get back into reading. Too much screen time.
I can agree with you on this.
