It’s not easy.
Blogging is not easy.
If you are blogging after long time it is even more difficult.
Your followers lose interest in you.
Many unfollow you.
With just a few posts attracting audience is a challenge.
On other hand, I have a few friends who are still supporting my blog, reading my new posts, and commenting as well.
I am thankful to them.
I have no idea how long will it take for my blog to get more attention and views.
Getting views is a real time struggle as a blogger.
A blogger needs to be patient and write more often to get attention.
I will be patient because growth takes time.
With this positivity let’s keep blogging.

Views are good but what’s most important is engagement. Engagement will grow your blog. It took me a long time to realize that but since I’ve changed my mindset things are falling into place. Headlines are critical to getting people to read your post and not including too many links. Write for yourself, the subjects your passionate about not what you think people want to read. And yes, it does take time.
I agree. Engagement is important for the growth of any blog. I write what I feel like writing but sometimes readers do not have interest in those things.
I still lack views on my posts but that’s ok until I enjoy writing.
Not paying attention to the numbers is the best way to not get discouraged. I used to be obsessed with numbers and wrote four posts a day to get more traffic. I’ve since started only posting 2 pots a day and my click-through rate has gone way up and my engagement rate has as well. Maybe you need to look at the topics you’re writing about. I would follow some blogs similar to you’re and read their posts. That may help you understand what people are looking for. You can also do a search on what topics people want to read about now, that is very helpful. The rest is time.

I just started blogging again after a long hiatus. I experienced burnout on my previous blog and deleted it, thinking I’d never return. Yet, here I am….

Very inspiring post which I’m sure speaks the experience of many bloggers. If not for the love of blogging, the daily views from some wordpress.com followers and the daily 100+ views from Google visitors, I might have given up blogging some time ago. But here we are 6 years old and going strong. Like your case, some bloggers unfollowed me but I take it as their reason or time to face their own new interests. Even me and some of my friends in the past had to part ways as we became older, either by their choosing or mine

I have 1500 WordPress followers but I do not get much views, hardly like 50 or something still I do what I need to do.
You’re welcome. Hanging on is what has gotten us to where we are. I have 4700 subscribers (about 95% or more from wordpress.com) but only get at most 40 views from wordpress.com, only when I publish, but most of my daily traffic comes from search engines, especially Google which gives me around 100 views or more everyday, even when I don’t publish anything. The Google views are the result of my keyword optimized articles, especially the ones on technical and engineering drawings which I usually take more time to place keywords in when preparing the post

I am hoping that some of my followers will also become my readers of my novels!
