I love to read, it’s my favorite thing
To escape to other worlds, where stories sing


With every page I turn, my mind roam
In the world of stories where I am not alone

I love the characters, and the stories they tell
Whether fiction or nonfiction and poems as well


I love the feeling, of holding a book
the pages so soft and beautiful to look

Books are my friends, my comfort and my guide
They take me on journeys, where I can reside


In the world of books, I am free to be
A book lover, wild and carefree.
