Today is April 11th, day 4 of Chaitra Navratri. This year day 1, prathma and day 2, dwitiya of Chaitra Navratri was on the same day.
In Hindu religion, the calendar works in a different way. We do not have the festivals on the same day every year. This is the reason why, all festivals fall on different days every single year.
Navratri is a Hindu festival that lasts for nine days. This festival is dedicated to worshiping of Goddess Durga.
This year, Chaitra Navaratri commenced on April 9th and will end on April 17th.
Here is the picture of Goddess Durga at our house. As usual everything is done by my husband by the blessings of Maa Durga.
