Coloring is Fun

I started coloring as a hobby last year in December and now I am obsessed with it. I am still learning and enjoying this new developed interest of mine.

Any kind of art is certainly a therapy. When I color, I find my world only in the color pens and the coloring sheet. I get engrossed in my activity. For that moment everything falls side apart and coloring is the only priority.

As I already mentioned in my previous coloring posts, I have a 140 coloring gel pen set out of which 10 gel pens have already run out of ink. So you get an idea, how much pens I am using these days.

After finishing coloring one page I start looking for another page for coloring. My kids have also started complaining that mommy is always busy with her pens and paper πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ.

Ok, so now I am sharing 4 pages that I colored recently. Please let me know what you think about my color selection. Your comments will be highly appreciated.

Last one is my favorite as it has most details and really took hours to complete. I know, coloring requires lots of patience and time but once you are into it you will start appreciating yourself for the completed work.

We are never too old to start a new hobby, to hold a color pencil, a sketch pencil or any other thing. Take a blank paper and a pencil and look for the wonders that you can create. Take a marker and start coloring. You will enjoy it.

This was all for today. Pardon me for the bad quality of the paper. Actually for practice purpose I use low quality papers. Now I think I can raise my bar by using high quality papers. Stay tuned for more such colorful stuff. Please share your little creativities with pen and pencils too. Thank you for stopping by and reading this post πŸ™πŸ™.

  1. I love these. I’m a huge fan of coloring. I also have a friend in her 3rd year of rehab after a horrific domestic violence attack. She suffered a major brain injury and was in a coma for 10 or 11 months. She is finding such success with painting and coloring as therapy. Art is a natural healer.

  2. They are beautiful. I have started too last year in September, but been into art since I was little. So when I started adult coloring, I color continously on my free time. Now not only coloring but I love to share what I have done until now. Happy coloring!
