Inspirational Quotations: Success and Failure

Success and failure are two opposite terms that are often used to describe growth and achievements of any individual. Some say that you can’t be successful without failures. I agree with it. We actually learn from our mistakes that led to failures. We grow, learn and experience new things from our failures.

In this post, I am sharing four inspiring quotations from famous people around the world. I hope these quotes will inspire and motivate you too.

As we know that every individual is different, some people can bear the outcomes of failures while others cannot. For some people, failure is devastating and they fail to cope up. We should always understand that failures are not final and life does not end with them. When one thing fails, another thing might work out.

Success and failure are part of our journey. An individual cannot grow without failures. And no person is always successful in whatever he or she does in his/her first attempt. We fail, we learn, we try again, we change few things, and slowly but steadily we succeed.

So, always keep trying. Don’t be afraid of failures. Failures will come and go. Failures teach us how to succeed. Be positive, learn from mistakes and keep going, success will be achieved.

This was all for today. I hope all of you are doing good. Please let me know which one is your favorite quotations from the one I shared here. Your comments are always appreciated.

Thank you for stopping by and reading this post. Be kind and generous.

Music

Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.

Plato

I can’t agree more. Music 🎵 has its own soul. Music has its own language. Music has no boundaries. Music 🎶 unites people.

I am a die hard fan of Bollywood music and Bollywood songs. Music is like a medicine to me. Whenever I am in a bad mood, music is as a reliever. Whenever I am in a good mood, music is like a fun. So, in any mood music is always a yes yes for me.

I have my own list of favourite songs and I generally stick to my list though I can listen to music from your playlist too.

I know, many of my friends here might not be aware of Bollywood songs as they aren’t from India or they don’t speak or understand Hindi. But sometimes it’s more about the tune than the lyrics. For example, I listen to “despacito song” with my kids thought I can’t understand the lyrics but I love the song. My kids love to dance on this song.

Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.

Keith Richards

Music is known to have psychological benefits. It is also considered as a coping mechanism for pain and anxiety. Music is a stress buster and a mind relaxer.

We all know that listening to music is entertaining and fun. All of us have different tastes in music. Some listen to romantic songs while some like hip hop. Some people are also interested in classical music and it’s serene. I like the music from “jal tarang” where we listen to water rhythms.

Listening to music is beneficial for health. It not only benefits the one who is playing the music but also to those who are listening.

I am not that good in singing but I like to hum or sing when no one is there. I don’t know to play any musical instrument but I like playing drums (dholak). I also like to play a keyboard. I have one for my kids.

What was the last time you listened to a song, a musical instrument or even played a musical instrument or sung a song?

This was all for the day. Hope to see you in my next post. Please pen down your thoughts about music in the comment section. Thank you for stopping by and reading my post. Stay connected.

Pencil Art

Hello Everyone,

I am sharing with you, a pencil sketch that I tried to do yesterday. I just wanted to draw something and this is what I drew. The drawing is inspired from a picture as a WhatsApp forward.

I am confused what else I can do in this picture. I thought of coloring this picture or just sketching the background and then I thought I might ruin what I created, so I just left it as it is.

Please let me know what do you think about this pencil art of mine. I know my drawing is very amateur so the faults on the picture can be ignored 😊.

Thanks a lot. Your comments will be highly appreciated.

Random Thoughts: Keep Trying

Yesterday, when I was teaching my son, I found this motivational poem in his book How the Little Kite Learned to Fly by Katherine Pyle. This poem is worth sharing.

“I never can do it,” the little kite said,

As he looked at the others high over his head;

“I know I should fall if I tried to fly.”

“Try,” said the big kite; “only try!

Or I fear you never will learn at all.”

But the little kite said : “I’m afraid I’ll fall.”

The big kite nodded : “Ah, well, good-bye;

“I am off.” And he rose toward the tranquil sky.

Then the little kite’s paper stirred at the sight.

And trembling he shook himself free for flight.

First whirling and frightened, then braver grown,

Up, up, he rose through the air alone,

Till the big kite looking down could see

The little one rising steadily.

Then how the little kite thrilled with pride,

As he sailed with the big kite side by side.

While far below he could see the ground,

And the boys like small spots moving round.

They rested high in the quiet air,

And only the birds and clouds were there.

“Oh, how happy I am,’.’ the little kite cried;

“And all because I was brave and tried.”

Katherine Pyle

So, what we learn from this little kite? We learned that everything looks impossible to be done, when we do it for the first time. Whatever be the circumstances, we should never stop trying. We might fail several times but one day we will achieve our goal.

Try, try, until you succeed should be the notion. Trying should never be stopped. A person who tries despite failing, is the one who soars high in his life.

Like this little kite, that first thought, it cannot fly but being motivated by the big kite and having the courage to try, it tries to fly and it flies up in the sky, leaving behind its fear to fall. At last the little kite is happy as it was able to combat its fear and flies happily in the sky.

Random Clicks: Flowers

Beautiful flowers are always attractive. These days, I stop a bit to look at their mesmerizing beauty and then click their photographs. This has become my hobby whenever I go for a walk.

I know, watching these beauties in real is more fun than watching their pictures but in pictures these flowers are alive forever. Pictures are the best way to keep the memories alive and so are the moments.

I hope you will like the pictures that I clicked yesterday. I hope these pictures would bring a broad smile on your face as well.

These were few clicks from yesterday. Wish you all a happy Monday. Stay safe and happy. Stay tuned for more such photoblogs. Thank you for stopping by and reading this post.

Spread Positivity

At the moment there are all sorts of news that are constantly filling our brains with negativity and the toughest part is, we can’t ignore them. In the months of March and April I was so much engrossed in the news of COVID-19 that sometimes it felt that everything is falling apart and this world is going to end.

Then I decided not to watch any news related to the pandemic, not to react with any memes or messages sent on any social platform, etc. This helped me a lot. I ignored any messages of COVID-19 that were sent on WhatsApp groups.

Being a microbiologist, I knew social distancing, using masks and gloves and maintaining personal hygiene is important. Eating healthy and boosting immunity is important as we don’t have the vaccine yet. So, I sticked to these religiously. Things started getting better. I felt reduction in my negative thoughts.

Positivity and negativity impacts our mind and body in different ways. Science also proves the impact of positive and negative thoughts on our body and mind.

In present scenario our mind constantly receives news related to COVID-19. Everyone talks about it. In the news, any digital platform and at homes we knowingly or unknowingly keep talking about the deadly virus. Our minds are overwhelmed with the negativity.

So we need to cleanse our body and mind and cultivate positive thoughts. We can’t certainly remove the negativity around but we can atleast stop those thoughts from reaching us.

We can do yoga, meditate, and pray. We can spread positive words and positive thoughts because as it seems now this is the way we will be living for at least an year. Thus, we need to stay positive and healthy.

Blogging is a great platform to spread positivity. Positive thoughts are always welcomed by people as they generate positivity around us. Positive thoughts generate positive energy and heals the body.

The mind is everything, what you think you become.

Buddha

So, let’s spread positivity and heal ourselves. Let me know what you think about spreading positivity. How can we stay positive during this critical time?

Thank you for stopping by and reading the post. Stay tuned for more such posts. Till then stay safe, healthy and happy.

Random Clicks: Flowers

A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it just blooms.

Matshona Dhliwayo

Flowers are beautiful. They add to the beauty wherever present. They are fresh and lively. They just not grow, they bloom.

In this post, I am sharing few pictures of flowers that I found yesterday in my community while walking. Here they are:

A rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too.

Coloring is Fun

I started coloring as a hobby last year in December and now I am obsessed with it. I am still learning and enjoying this new developed interest of mine.

Any kind of art is certainly a therapy. When I color, I find my world only in the color pens and the coloring sheet. I get engrossed in my activity. For that moment everything falls side apart and coloring is the only priority.

As I already mentioned in my previous coloring posts, I have a 140 coloring gel pen set out of which 10 gel pens have already run out of ink. So you get an idea, how much pens I am using these days.

After finishing coloring one page I start looking for another page for coloring. My kids have also started complaining that mommy is always busy with her pens and paper 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Ok, so now I am sharing 4 pages that I colored recently. Please let me know what you think about my color selection. Your comments will be highly appreciated.

Last one is my favorite as it has most details and really took hours to complete. I know, coloring requires lots of patience and time but once you are into it you will start appreciating yourself for the completed work.

We are never too old to start a new hobby, to hold a color pencil, a sketch pencil or any other thing. Take a blank paper and a pencil and look for the wonders that you can create. Take a marker and start coloring. You will enjoy it.

This was all for today. Pardon me for the bad quality of the paper. Actually for practice purpose I use low quality papers. Now I think I can raise my bar by using high quality papers. Stay tuned for more such colorful stuff. Please share your little creativities with pen and pencils too. Thank you for stopping by and reading this post 🙏🙏.

Inspirational Quotes on Happiness

Inspirations are what we humans need from time to time. We often get inspired by people, by their work or by their thoughts. Today I chose the word Happiness for inspirational quotes and there are lots of people who talk about happiness that might inspire us.

Happiness is not a new word that I am talking about in my blog. I have already shared about happiness in one of my previous posts. You can check out in the link provided here.

I have selected 4 quotations on happiness but thee are many quotations available on the internet. You can look for other if you want. I chose only 4 so that the impact of the quote can be more. When we have too much thought, we often get burdened by the thoughts and our minds become blank. So only 4-5 at a time, I suppose is better. Here are few selected inspirational quotes on happiness.

This is so true. We ourselves are responsible for our happiness. Our actions are responsible whether we will be happy or sad. So it’s important to watch our actions as they are the deciding factors of our happiness.

A happy soul has a happy mind and a healthy body.

Penofhearts

Here the author talks about love and its relationship with happiness. According to him, love always brings happiness, peace and blessings. If we are loved, we are in peace and we are blessed.

This quotation is so well suited in today’s world. We often worry a lot about things that are not in our hands and become sad. This quote inspires us not to worry about the things that are not in our control.

Happiness lies within us. Life can be happy with what littlest we have but we tend to ignore what we actually have and long for things that we don’t have. If we are satisfied with what we have, happiness will always be there. Our thinking makes us happy or sad. So, to be happy we need to be satisfied and stay positive.

In this hard time when we are trying to live and survive with the deadly virus, staying happy is a big deal but we need to be happy as we just learned, we need very little to be happy and everyone of us have that little.

What is your favorite happiness quote? Please share with me in the comment section. Let me know whether you liked this post or not. Your thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you for stopping by and reading this post. Be happy and stay safe.
