Easier Said Than Done

It is easier said than done. Isn’t it? It is easier to preach than to follow. In today’s digital world we often come across motivational quotes and inspiring thoughts. We agree that these quotes and thoughts are motivating and inspiring but for how long. What is the impact of such thoughts? When I see such quotations I feel that the thought is so meaningful and true but I am unable to follow it or feel it for a long time. When it comes to follow, I am unable to do that.

It happened today also. I saw a quote on Facebook. It was from a website, womenworking.com and shared randomly by one of my friend. The quote goes as follows:

What’s being said, is so easy to believe and simple to understand. Life is a gift that God has given us but we don’t value it. It’s true. We always complain, request what we expect from life but we are never thankful to Him for just one reason that we are alive.

Why it is hard to be grateful for what we have been given? It is because we expect more than what we have. Sometimes life creates so much hurdles in our path that we forget to be grateful and thankful. At that particular time, we should stay calm and believe in Him, but it doesn’t happen. This is why I said, it’s easier to say that to do.

Life is so complicated that we deviate from the path of gratefulness and start questioning the Creater of life. I think it’s ok to question Him sometimes. It’s ok to feel low sometimes. It’s ok to be sad. It’s ok to feel left alone. It’s ok to feel that we don’t have everything that we deserve. It’s ok to be like this.

So, if I complain today about something, it’s ok. If I regret something that I did today, it’s ok.if I am requesting something from God today, it’s ok. It’s ok because I am human.

I don’t know, what I wrote today in this post made sense or not. The thoughts came randomly in my mind and I kept writing. If you agree with it please let me know in the comment section. Please feel free to put down your thoughts.

Thank so much for stopping by and reading. May peace and happiness prevail🙏🏻🙏🏻.
